A Forecast For Frost

~A Spring Haiku~



                                          one little raindrop..
                                       a bud on a branch calls..
                                           chills send it away..

                                          sunrays lightly spill..
                                   a blade of grass stretches out..
                                           forecast is for frost..

The bud may succumb for the season, but the blade of grass will rise again when the frost is gone. I'd gladly trade places with you. It is already getting a tad too warm here.
