A Flash of Light
You were born, and you are,
kind of like a shooting star.
A flash of light,
across the night.
Do you perceive, Can you believe?
A fleeting gift
That's speeding swift
Where when the fiery light depart
Rest when it complete it's dart
You are, and you were born
It midnight be.... Or is it morn?
Life's first gasp. An ebbing sigh
Every seconds a goodbye.
Do you believe? Can you perceive?
A flash of light,
across the night.
