A Fine Postcard

In my collection
a card oof Martin Luther King
has taken its posistion among the other cards
I have bought or traded for
Shot down like a dog
He tried to bring peace to a harsh, troubled world
Died young
He knew what he was getting into when he
began to agitate
   He is missed by many
Martin Luther King

Yes isn't it strange how the belief that fired him communicated itself to so many others Matthew, good to read your piece here.

This could be on the back of that postcard as a tribute to him, Matt. And a big congrats to your haiku win. Is that haiku here at Soup so we may see it? Wilberforce was the guy behind getting slavery abolished in England! (focus of the movie: Amazing Grace). Check over your poem here for typos among first three lines. Luv, Andrea
