Virginia Waters Poet Rhyme

A Final Note

Dear Universal Source,

                         I love you still, of course
                         You've driven me hard
                          handed me the joker card
                          often, and still words pour
                          ( though I'm at your door)
                          from your heart's fount - Chalice Well 
                          I write them down to tell,
                          as I am bidden
                          what lies no longer hidden.
                          Quite soon, I'll be with you
                           a thought from the blue!
                          Maybe I will be the tool,
                          dropping words on a fool.
                          I wish them good luck,
                          Mayhap they can get to duck!!

I still have some time ahead of me, hopefully; my daughters are only in their 20s but my life has had a few moments of final thoughts. Can't compete there so tried something different. You're probably too young to be thinking final thoughts !! Just disengage and sleep on it.
