A Fighters Prayer

in the end it doesnt really matter all we believed in is gone
so we live for the moment we believe in today
TOMORROW COMES AND GOES AND WE ARE YESTURDAY

wasted time in borrowed moments forgetting what really counts
showing by example the way we live not knowing who it hurts
THIS IS MY WORLD AND IM GONNA DO IT MY WAY

in the nights i wasted away in prison i was my only friend
all those times we shared together never meant anything
YOU LEFT ME HERE TO DIE ALONE

racing thoughts and reminiscing on borrowed memories
empty promises that never meant a thing dreading loniless
NOW I ASK MYSELF WHY, WHAT HAVE I BECOME

years forgotten come and gone the past came back to haunt me
riddiculed by myself in the mirror daunting a helpless soul
WHERE DOES IT ALL GO, WHEN WILL I FEEL BETTER

persuasion by persucution leaves me no choice but to change
the thought of dying alone leaves an awful taste in my mouth
CAN I ACTUALLY REDEEM MYSELF BEFORE ITS TOO LATE

guilty as sin of giving in to a world that open its arms
welcomed me and held on tight until i set myself free
IF I CAN DO IT ANYONE CAN!!!!
