A Few Words
It was something that you told me
Not very long ago,
It helped to get me through
And I believe it helped me grow
I was having such a hard time,
Believing in anything
But just a few words from you
Made my heart want to sing
Now I have hope again
And a life I want to live
I shall be forever grateful
For those words you had to give
.
Do you remember those few words?
That opened my eyes to see?
Well, I remember them well.
You simply said, “God does love me!”
