A Fathers' Prayer For His Household...

As i watch the gentle winds blow, back and forth to and for. Give me compassion as i watch them grow. When all else has failed and all things have passed away. Mix compassion with understanding as I may watch these winds play. Even if they blow strong or if they blow weak. Grant them the desires of their heart and each dream they seek. Grant them the knowledge to know what to seek. Yet grant them the wisdom to know when to speak. Then when they play and things get rough. Grant them the serenity to know when enough is enough. When rage is aroused grant them peace. Ease one's anger and make the damage least. Give them hope for what comes tomorrow. Heal their pain and ease their sorrow. If ever the time when a peace cant be found. Sheild them in your love and just stick around. I am but a man in need of divine help. So that my household will flourish and your presence be kept.
