A Father's Note

There once was a girl who was varied Whose teenage moods could be scary The truth of it was She's awesome because Like a woman, she herself carried I have many children, it's true But those boys won't do what you'll do Not 'cause you're a girl You'll change the world That's how much I believe in you You want to grow up right away I want my sweet lady to stay But I also want you To do what you'll do Once we know you won't lose your way You'll sing your life's very own tune That will happen so very soon On that day I'll cry A tear from my eye But for others t'will be a boon

Daddy's never lose their little girls. There's a bond between father and daughter that no one and nothing can break, IF it was forged from the beginning. My Dad was my hero. A lovely personal write, Nad.
