A Father's Cry

How are you doing son, as you go through the toils of life.
Going through life battles, some situations can bring you struggles and strife.
I pray I taught you well son, but knowing only time will tell.
No matter how good it looks on the surface each day can bring you a brand new
hell.
Don't fall for the tricks of the world; it's all a scheme to pull you further away,
Stay focused on the truth, only what you do for God remains.
Hold fast to all that is Holy; don't forget to call on Lord Jesus name.
Remember the things that are steadfast, only the truth will bring you God's
glorious
gains.
Son I'm here for you, I taught you to give it all to the end,
I'm proud of you son, and in the Lord you will always have a friend.
Stand strong and keep your eyes on what is true,
Stay focused on the "heavenly throne" and remember son, "I will always love you."
