A Father and Husband Remembered

Our father has passed from this life
He cared about his children and his wife
He was sometimes, not so understanding
He was a person that was demanding

Guiding his family with a firm hand
The lessons learned, made me a better man
In our lives, our father was the example
My siblings and I, thankful for the sample

Our father was a man with beliefs
In this time of mourning, don't have grief
Beloved by manyfor seventy-eight years
Though he'll be missed, don't shed tears

Dedicated to Floyd Lee Neal Sr.
