A Faraway Look in My Eyes

     I can’t conceal my moods, can you? 
      a long face reflects a rough day
       a smile says now everything’s OK

     Fighting back tears is useless, you see
       something terrible’s happened to me

     A faraway look in my eyes means I’m reminiscing
       of our good times together ~ of what I’m missing
