A Fantastic Sight
Check out the stars at night,
twinkling high in the sky.
Seen with the naked eye
ebony pierced by light,
is a fantastic sight;
that draws a gentle sigh.
The universe displayed
like a precious jewel,
makes you feel minuscule.
In awe of all surveyed,
you're left feeling dismayed;
a ripple in life's pool.
Yet, you're part of the whole,
connected: through your soul.
