A Fantasized Freedom

Away with the wind I went, Beyond the deep skies to forget, Soul healed, mind and heart, Freed of my past at last. I forgot that snow and rain, Could return me to earth again. I forgot that tears and pain, My heart could never bargain. I long for a touch of fire, To awake me from this slumber. These emotions I wish to retire, They make me be just as bitter.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
