a FAMILY

A family built on trust a family built on fear
A family with no food money spent on beer

A family without love a family with no hugs
A family without feeling when they are on drugs

A family without caring a family running wild
A family not caring for their very young child

A family full of violence a family full of hurt
A family that can not see a child full of dirt

A family that will never hear me cry
A family that would not worry if I was to die

This was my life for all the world to see
But I still love them all because they are
         MY FAMILY.

This is a well written verse. I've seen this sort of family. It burdens the children. Thanks for this revelation.
