A Familiar Place

You are a memory that was always clear as day, The night never looked grander, The waves never sound so majestic, I sat with you on the shores, I don't even know why, You were the last one I would have called, But I did, Maybe cause you knew me , You understand how my heart "is", I felt a familiar place , The warmth of ur chest as you held me, You knew I needed it, It's funny you ware my past , You everything that didn't make sense, But when my world came crashing down , I needed you there, My mystery of the night, A place no one could find me, The last place the world would expect me to go, I would not have expected me to go , But I did, I sat silently on that bench at 5.00am, The strong breeze blew my hair everywhere, I felt like I was home , The sun rose to its embrace , There was no place I would rather me , Than here in your arms , Near the sea.
