Written to Dr. Ram's form Balassi Stanza just for fun..
The good, bad, and the ugly of the Sweetgum..If one could take away those seed balls which can throw one down in a heartbeat..The range of color of this tree is so varied..The leaves can be red, yellow, or crimson or a mix on one tree..Sara
Down where Golden Rods blooms Creek runs to rushing tune And mist rises on cool morns Shrouding red Sweetgum leaves Gentle wind blows through eaves Sighing comfort not forlorn Lazy sound so soothing Snuzzle in relaxing Listening to dove that mourns Note: Click on "About The Poem"

Our neighbors have one in their yard. I get to look at it. They get to clean up after it. Tony
