A Fairies Welcome

Dandelion, standing tall, proud, no fear, guarded by the fairies. A butterflies Spring salvation, the fairies bid them all welcome! Sadly, fickle Spring poses a threat to both, freezing night times! Composed on the 4/18/18 Sijo - Poetry contest sponsored by Deborah Guenther Beachboard

Made me smile Mick as we have both dandelions and fairies at our fairy bridge on the Island!:-) I used to love blowing the dandelion 'fairies' as a child now I understand that's how the pesky things get into my lawn lol:-) hugs Jan xx
