A Dream So Sweet
She strolled across the forest floor
happened upon a magical door.
Door opened presenting a view
enhancing innocence to step through.
A view so bright she had to go
with butterflies dancing off her toes.
Felt warmth of love upon her face
fear disappeared without a trace.
Swept her hair back desired to see
light exposeing unmatched beauty.
Promised lover from behind a tree
her life forever always be happy.
They disappeared beneath the sun
so glad that day, I was the one.
