A Dream Just Within Reach

Perhaps a hope of tomorrow
Perhaps a promise to keep
Perhaps a lesson of sorrow
Perhaps another soul asleep
Perhaps a dream just within reach

Only a lost button on the floor
Only a dusty picture frame
Only a scratched-out heart on the door
Only an outdated middle name
Only a dream just within reach
