A Dream

As I look on in to time's eyes 
I see the world around me dies 
White, black, dark red, and green 
Yet all of the world's pain goes unseen 
All I want to do is go away and hide 
But it will never kill the pain inside 
I watch the angels and the devil fight 
Trying to win the war of darkness and light 
But what is the way for me up ahead 
Will I begin to walk with the never dying dead 
Or will the dreams come true to this past 
And the ending will be coming at last 
To make a world of the new dawn 
That will come to be here and go on and on 
A place where love can overtake the hate 
A place where people can except their fate 
But I know that place can never be 
Just look around the outside world and you shall see 
And all I wanted to do was to be there and stay 
But I couldn't because I woke up today
