A Dream

I wear my hat real low so you cannot read my eyes
Don’t get too close
You might fall in
I am a bottomless chasm in disguise
All I seem to do is fall
Will there ever be a time when I rise?
Grounded like a rock
Trying so hard to reach my dream that floats by like a cloud in the rainy skies
Will I ever grow wings to chase those dreams?
Or is this the beginning of dreams demise?
