A Dreadful Thing
A Bright candle flame,
A young life tamed,
A open soul is named,
A tear of happiness,
A nights peaceful silence,
A skinned knee the only thing bleeding,
A happy life still breathing,
A life with a smile,
A dreadful thing happens,
A breathing life hurting,
A hurt life not worth living,
A slit piece of flesh still bleeding,
A scared heart relent-ly beating,
A nights silence haunting,
A tear unwelcome,
A hidden soul unnamed,
A broken life untamed,
A blown out candle flame.
