A Dog at the Beach

There once was a dog at the beach
Who happily got off its leash
And without saying a word
Did a steaming great turd
Which made me want to dry reach.

Once shaken out of my daze
I chased the dog in a craze
All over the sand
And where did I land?
But right where the steaming pile lays.

Said I to its master
You’ve created a disaster
To avoid this mishap
You could’ve picked up the crap
The bloke it turns out was a pastor.

And he says to me
It’s God’s will you see
I said you’re pulling my leg
It’s a barker’s bloody egg
It could have at least done it under a tree.

So I say to you
If your dog needs a poo
Don’t be a bloody great oaf
And pick up its loaf
Or I hate to think what I will do.
