A Dissolving Soul

I can't stop smoking
My soul is on fire..
My nightmares too are flaring
But I know the devil is a liar
 
My empty pockets full of green
Oh how I wish I could drink like a tree
Instead of dissolving in this golden unclean
So I could grow to be a hundred or three
