A Deeply Rooted Faith
Do you know the acceleration and speed of the cheetah? Have you heard about the strength of the oak tree?
Are you aware of the flexibility of the palm tree? The cheetah is said to be the fastest animal on land with speeds exceeding
50 miles per hour. His acceleration is great, but he must capture
its prey quickly because he cannot long sustain such speeds.
In our walk with God, we need not be the fastest in the faith, but may our faith be of the kind that is deeply rooted in high
sustainability. May our faith be strong as the oak tree, ever pure and lasting. I have a fruitless mulberry tree
that worries me and a palm that doesn't. May our faith
be as the palm that may bend and sway, but will not break.
