A Deep Soul

A deep soul
A wounded heart
She laughs from the outside
She wants to be loved

Can she see her reflection?
Maybe, one day, I’ll know

Her eyes, they speak
Of her joy, of her pain
And I want to be with her
When they truly smile again

I long to hear her laughter
When it’s from within
I long to see her tears
Her vulnerability

I want to be there
To listen, to share experiences
To encourage her, support her
Lover her. As I already do

I want to watch her grow
See the girl become a woman
I want to learn form her
I want to meet her
