A Dedication To Bels

To Bels - A PICTURE of YOU

It’s true one thing shall tell no lies
A picture set before my eyes
As pictured once within my mind
To beautify my life in kind.
No more the hazy thoughts compete
This portrait shall my mind complete.

The flickering flames upon your face
Cast golden shades in an embrace
With likened curls upon your head
Each one a radiant golden thread
That whispers in a gentle breeze
The stare of mortal man to freeze!

So lengthened evermore, my days
Whilst fixed on you, my eyes just laze
The day these wonders so enhance
Where dusk still finds me in a trance
Come mid of night, it’s brighter still
With dawn, compared - a murmured thrill.
