A Dedicated Man

A DEDICATED MAN

The world can look to see what can
Be done by a dedicated man--
A man who puts himself last place
And reaches out to the human race.
A man who gives all of his time
To help some less fortunate to find
A life worth living, worth the goals
That some have set for human souls.
A man who gives nothing but love.
Not out to gain or something prove,
But simply caring that folks die
And not content to just ask why.
A man who values love and life
And strives to calm each raging strife.
A man who’d give his blood to free
Someone in cruel, hard slavery.
There’s but one Man of whom I know
Who once lived on this earth below,
Fulfilled this dedicated life:
His name is Jesus, Lord, and Christ.
