A Dear Friend

They say I've lost a dear friend
And time will heal the pain
I say it is not a true loss
Just a break till we meet again

They say I will get over it
And smile again some day
Yes, I can smile once more
Hurt has yet to go away

They say the memories will help
Keep them in my heart always
That is the easiest part to do
I’ll remember you all my days

They say you will get over it
And learn to move on and live
I will never forget your sweet love
You had so much more to give

Hi, Betty. Dear friends are a gift to us and even after they are gone they are always with us. You were very fortunate to have such a friend and I enjoyed the tribute.... Robert.

Thank you..She has been gone for 3 years now and I miss my best friend. She helped me get through losing my husband and my sister. A good person.
