A Daughter and Her Mother
I don't always seem to appreciate the things you do,
and I don't say it enough, but I love you.
There's a lot of things we seem to forget,
but it's nothing to fret about just yet.
When life doesn't treat me very fair,
I know you try to help because you care.
There are many times we don't agree,
usually the one who's wrong is me.
Whenever we get into a fight,
it always seems to turn out alright.
Sometimes we can't seem to keep quiet when we should,
but we express our minds when we think it does good.
We probably should listen more to each other,
but these things just happen between a daughter and her mother!
