A Dark Day

A Dark Day

           Dark clouds loom.

           Spirits full of gloom

           Thoughts turn to doom.

            Together for years.

            Now, eyes full of tears.

           Anger in the voice,

           Leaving us with no choice.

          Accusations of blame.

         Nothing will be the same.

        Two hearts bleed,

Today is a dark day indeed.

                                            Stephen Forcier
