A Curious and Quiet Doppelganger

The sun cannot take back its fire, when it has been turned to blood. Man has survived long in a world, ravaged by earthquakes, a flood. The heavens above show interest, the man full of fragilities and fear. Has conquered the world he loves, now looks at himself in the mirror. Wanders the globe in search of it, but what he wants can't be found. It is a great and wonderful thing, Looking for it as if we were bound. It is not, "out there", It's the spirit, unlike us, it doesn't have a name. A curious and quiet doppelganger, most of us have left out in the rain. The body that has lived to old age, now comes to the time of the end. When the spirit must say goodbye, to the one it calls... my old friend.
