A Cure For the End
From beyond my door way
Flying from California to New Jersey
Forgiveness is like a scar
When memories
Just won’t tell you who you are
These are the symptoms
That you don’t want to find
When everyone you know
Is away from touch
Now how am I to face the day
She says this won’t cure the end
But if you’ve made it back to where you are
Then turn around you’ve gone too far
She keeps calling
Just when I think that I can go on
Sometimes you just can’t say no
Sometimes it’s even harder
Just to nod your head
Some of the things we do
Won’t cure the end
And some things you don’t need
Until it’s over
Now how am I to face today
She says this won’t cure your end
But if you’ve made it back to where you are
Then turn around you’ve gone too far
