A Critical Spirit

A Critical Spirit A Critical Spirit Comes from the spirit of pride. That spirit of pride resides Over the whole world wide. A critical spirit comes from darkness Was not found in our Lord. If we are to emulate Him This spirit we cannot afford. A Critical Spirit is destructive; The opposite of help; To draw others to God’s love A relationship to develop. When we judge others We are simply playing God This is not our role Pride, to God, is odd. A Critical Spirit surrendered to our Savior Will enable us to tell Of God’s love to others— On their faults no longer dwell. Instead focus on their gifts For gifts God has given to each one. None of us are perfect; We’re all being refined by God’s Son. © Copyright 2007-2012 Maureen LeFanue www.maureenlefanue.com

More truth from your pen. Thanks for sharing. I believe with God's help, we can overcome our greatest sins. Even though I fall everyday, He picks me up, brushes me off, and amazingly, loves me that much more. Talk about grace! Blessings, Rhonda

If a child lives with condemnation, he learns to condemn(or criticize)..Sad but so many children are doomed from the womb..Yes, it is true that many think that they are so great that all they can do is criticize others..It is very hard for this person to see the need of repentance and getting help from God to improve their lives..Enjoyed your well thought out work..Sara
