A Cowboy's Tragedy

A Cowboy's Tragedy He was young and good looking. He was also a good man. He had a girlfriend, which he was very much in love with. She lived in town, while he lived out on his Ranch. He soon asked her to marry him. She said yes. It was the happiest day of his life. She was very beautiful and his Mother approved of her. The families made arrangements for the preparations of the wedding. Finally the big day came - they had a big wedding all their families and friends were there. Soon after the Honeymoon - they moved into their house. They were very happy and everyone knew it. Some months had gone by and one day he had to take a three day trip. It was a business trip and he had to leave his young bride alone. On the third day - he came back around midnight. It had been raining hard for two days. There was a lot of thunder and lighting When he opened the door and went to the bedroom, with the lighting that came through the window - he saw two bodies covered up on the bed. That's when he went Crazy, he pulled out his gun and shot both of them many times. He knew they were dead. He then went to see who the other man was. To his surprise , when he uncovered them, it was not a man. It was his own Mother. That his wife had asked her to come and keep her company while he was away. His heart was broken and at that moment he went up to a hill and hung himself from a tree. A tragedy that would be told for years to come...

Wow...that is tragic and scary. To think somebody would blindly discharge a weapon without identifying his target's identity...says a LOT about this man's self-esteem and trust issues. SAD!

Thank you so much. I will take care of that. I have problems with my vision, since last year in November that I had a heart attack and a stroke. I have to have eye surgery, but can't do it now. I am glad you enjoyed it.
