A Cooler Place

I looked for shade on that Summer's day
My body is made for a cooler May
By a river to wade I found the way
Lie or be laid where coolness may stay
High up the grade where zephyrs will play
Nigh on the blade where green grass forms hay
Shy of the trade where water turns grey
Sly but not afraid I will cool where I lay

Nicely strung and witty indeed, Larry, culminating coolness that you have expressly justified and my compliments on your 1st Place win -- Aloha from Hawaii~@William
