Listen to poem:

A Conversation With the Sun

A Conversation with The Sun
David J Walker

It comes later
Every morning
And teases me like
A lover with others
not denying anything

Still,

It will not let me go
As I wait by my window
For it to rise

And fill my day with light
Until the damned night
Comes and takes it away

And despite
	What I might say

Nothing changes
It will always be this way

As I awake and await
A conversation
with the sun
