A Complex Puzzle
Fragments of crumbling dreams morph
into all the different shapes necessary,
to complete the puzzle of life.
Youth is a collage of broken bits and pieces,
fragmented memories of family;
haunting, selective recollections.
You recall a few fleeting years of happiness;
And yet, time shadows most of youth.
And suppress any suppressed stuff,
those secret scars, like the truth, are incomplete.
Can love complete an incomplete picture,
find all the missing pieces,
align the misshapen cut-outs,
and make a broken heart and soul whole?
Life is a complex puzzle;
and like all puzzles,
if you want to see the entire picture,
you need to find all the missing pieces.
