A Cold Wait
Lightning dances in the sky,
Thunder cracks and shatters the night.
As she searches for him,
There's no moon, no light.
He could be alive, he could be dead,
She just knows she loves him sincerely.
Whether he loves her too is unknown,
She just knows she needs him dearly.
Through the fog, through the cold of life,
She waits for him to realize she's there.
It could be months, it could be years,
It doesn't matter, her love will not ware.
