A Cold Truth

It's hard understanding the facts of life,
Everyone dies and no one survives,
Treasure the moments with the ones you
love,
It's a precious gift sent from above,
We get so busy and forget to slow down,
Before you know it, you'll be six feet in the
ground;
Take your time with each and every day,
Don't live with regret of what you wanted to
say,
The world will keep on spinning once we're
gone,
Leaving our loved ones to grieve and move
on,
It's not ideal and seems so unfair,
Swallow your pride and show that you care,
It's a cold truth and hard pill to swallow,
Always remember, there's not always
tomorrow
