A Cold Touch

yes today i will be silent
apologies for being defiant
my quiet doesn’t accept a tyrant
no matter how much you’re violent

no i’m not at all angry
yeah i’m closed there’s no entry
my tears are just the elementary
please don’t come inside my boundary

i know all they want is to hurt me
caring and nice they said they'll be
but no need to pretend the courtesy
i’m aware their job is to use the lonely

to take advantage of the situation i’m in
foolish i’m not to not know their sin
distrust I’ve learned from the trusted kin
to love is my loss but your only win

alas today my mood is just such
after all I’ve spoken too much
to think one understand will just misjudge
for i am nothing but a cold touch
