A Cold Dark Day

Walking on a cold dark day I can’t see the sun it’s so grey A brisk wind chills the soul To make it home quickly my goal Quietly the clouds open to a redeeming sun A warming for the world cheekily won Even on the coldest day There is light and warmth in hope you pray. © Paul Warren Poetry
