A Circle of Souls

A circle of souls
Likeminded ladies
Invisible rules
Disqualify me

I’m somewhere in space
Floating alone
Holding a steady pace
Look how I’ve grown

I didn’t need her
Nope, not her either
The pot, they stir
I’m an obstacle beater

It doesn’t matter
At the end of the day
They’re getting fatter
At lunch and lattes

I hustle on
They chit chat
Soon I’ll be gone
No looking back
