A Christmas Wish For You

A Christmas Wish for You

Beneath the glow of twinkling lights,
In winter's soft and silent nights,
My thoughts, like snowflakes, drift to you,
A wonder bright, a love so true.

The world is hushed; the stars align,
As carols weave their gentle rhyme.
Each note a whisper, soft and clear,
Declaring all I hold most dear.

The fire's warmth, the frosted trees,
The magic carried on the breeze,
All pale beside your radiant spark,
A guiding light within the dark.

So take my hand this Christmastime,
Let’s blend our hearts, your soul with mine.
And may this love, so sweet, so rare,
Grow evergreen, beyond compare.

For every gift wrapped 'neath the tree,
My greatest treasure will always be thee.

An enjoyable read Tom, reminds me how I met my wife over forty years ago, just before Christmas. Tom
