A Christmas Wish
Presents were wrapped and lain precariously under the Christmas tree,
Adorned with beautiful ribbons and paper for all to see.
The home was warm and cozy this family was truly blessed,
And when they dined at dinner, amongst their feast sat an unseen guest.
For it was His birthday they celebrated and made such a fuss,
And He felt their joy and love and by their names He placed a big golden plus.
And then He slipped out to be with others that day,
For all across the world people were starting to pray.
For revival was starting and it was sweeping the lands,
And in every country and nation people were proclaiming Jesus, The Savior, with gestures
so grand.
All fighting had stopped,
Every weapon was dropped.
All wrong doing had become a thing of the past
The veil of darkness had been lifted and His glorious light now shines brightly at last.
No hunger was left for everyone shared,
No more reason for sorrow for in every ones eyes you could truly see they really cared.
This is truly the season, the time for forgiveness,
Extend out your hand and your heart, He too will bless.
Yesterday is gone it is tomorrow we seek,
For without Jesus in our lives the future for mankind, would surely be bleak!
