A Christmas Thought

Look around you right now, do you know what you see, You see what most people in the world, only see in their dreams, Look at the tree, no big deal just a Christmas tree, Well for some, this is a fantasy, they've never seen, Look around, do you see the people you're with, Cherish them, because some people don't know what family is, Did you enjoy the meal, and give proper thanks, Somewhere, there's someone, who hasn't eaten for days, I'm not trying, to make anyone feel bad, I'm just trying, to make you all realize what you have, I hope you know, how lucky you truly are, To spend Christmas with family, not passed out, at some bar, Did you know there are 86400 seconds in a day, Have you taken a couple, to tell god "thanks", I'm very thankful to have my family here with me tonight, Thank you, for bringing so much joy, to my life
