A Choice
Raindrops on the maple leaf, glitter
Shining with hope, another day
Simple gifts that come from nature
Always seem to find a way…
To renew inspiration with open eyes
To gently help, make the moment clear
In our minds, we can be free!
From any negativity or fear
Color hangs on some trees that last
Through some blowing wind and rain
The birds are singing happily
Under gray skies with sweet refrain
Slowly I walk, to the beat of a wind chime
Grateful for everything around me
Knowing every step of the way,
Darkness is only a choice not to see!
