A Child's Love
The love of a child so tender and true
It breaks a heart to see one feeling blue
The joy they bring to a persons world
Whether it be a precious boy or an adorable girl
Their laughter and smiles luminate through a room
What a gift God gave to us to create one in the womb
The gift of their life is such a gorgeous creation
What an impact they can bring upon every nation
Be tender, gentle, sweet and patient with them
Show them unconditional love and forever be friends
Be there for them when they need a shoulder to cry on
Lend them you ear when they need someone to confide upon
Maintain this relationship for it is one of a kind and unique
For when they are lonely or sad it will be you that they seek
