"a Child's Cry"

The fight goes on an endless roar
It tears me apart. Digs deep to the core

In the fight these people don't see
the saddening harm they are doing to me

I love them, they seem not to care
Where is the love? It is not there

I feel so bare

I wish they would stop their trivial fights
that are converted to a mess and taken to flight

I feel so empty. It seems so cold
I must be brave and keep a strong hold

For now I live in the love not seen
hoping soon to understand what it all means

I know some day there will be a solution
but scars grow deep and my soul's of polution

How long must I face a problem not mine?
I'm hoping for a day when love is devine

This was written when I was 16. I won't tell you how long ago that was :) Just learning this site. It's a great place for my work and to actually learn what style I write in. Any help with interpreting my style would be greatly appreciated.
