A Childs Christmas Hope

I hear the bells jingle, hoofs on the snow!
when white clouds rumble, is Santa on tow?
days are getting shorter but nights now grow,
I wait to hear someone go ho! ho! ho!!

Christams tree stands pretty by our fireside,
carol singers breath heaven, it’s yule tide!
candles on window, twinkling bulbs will guide,
when Santa calls, hope our chimney is wide!

early to bed we shall go, all tonight,
dreaming of a tomorrow far more bright,
snow will still be covering the world white,
new gifts will be waiting to our delight!
